Inspiring Digital Artists – Elsevilla

If you’re a fan of detailed drawings then this guy might impress you with his digital skills, just recently has he been studying digital colouring, but what makes him superb among other artist is his skill on minute details as he draw on canvas, for me his art is influenced and somehow similar to well-known master artists like Hyung Tae Kim and Miwa Shirow, but looking at his artwork, he has done nevertheless quite his own unique style, and that it is more inclined to anime-ish plus superb details.
Hector Sevilla Lujan, or popularly known as elsevilla puts up some freaking awesome style that is worth pondering, He just proved here that no gadget can replace that of the human hand.

As the main penciler, he’s been into comicbook collaboration together with spectacular artists,Pacman23 and Seed they acts as the colour artist. They work hand in hand to produce a one-of-kind comic project called Leviticus Cross.

Future Pinoy scientists, a Museum of Natural History

Michael Purugganan, when he was an elementary student at Union Science Elementary School in Malate, used to sneak into the National Science Development Board premises, where he would spend hours in a small museum.  "It just fascinated me. I just wanted to learn more about these things and what these people were doing there," Purruganan told GMA News Online.  "That was really what inspired me to become a scientist," said Purugganan, who is currently the Dean for Science at New York University and a world leader in evolutionary and ecological genomics.   With a new museum in the works, more young Filipinos may be inspired to become scientists.
