The “Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire, who on Saturday demolished and sent Mexican boxing idol Jorge Arce to retirement, would possibly face Cuban fighter Guillermo Rigondeaux early next year.
Reports said Top Rank big boss Bob Arum sees the bout between Donaire and Rigondeaux to possibly happen in March 2013.
In an interview at the Toyota Center, the Hall of Fame promoter reportedly said he will discuss the proposed match with both boxers’ camps in the new year.
